A recurring and unfortunate practice that some fellow lawyers unfortunately encourage is to ask their clients for amounts of money to pay for certain favors or benefits from the courts, making them believe that if they do not pay their cases will not move forward. Based on my experience I can assure you that it is NOT necessary to commit to these practices. In my more than 20 years practicing professionally, I can assure you that I have never had to pay for favorable results or for any special favors.

Despite what many people may think of our judicial system, law and reason can prevail without needing to pay a single penny.
